Our History

Quiet and welcoming therapy environment used for counselling and mental health support
Professional therapy room prepared for psychological care and client sessions

Vera Mental Health Clinic was founded with a clear purpose: to offer psychological care that is ethical, evidence based, and deeply respectful of the human inner world. For us, mental health is not defined solely by diagnoses or symptoms. It is shaped by the balance individuals build with themselves, their relationships, and their wider lives.

At Vera Mental Health, we approach each person as a whole not as a label, a case, or a category. Every individual’s experience is listened to with care, professionalism, and clinical responsibility.

Our work is guided by scientific evidence, ethical practice, and a commitment to continuous professional development. We believe that high-quality mental health care requires both clinical expertise and genuine human understanding.

Vera Mental Health Clinic brings together psychologists and mental health professionals who work collaboratively, transparently, and within clearly defined professional standards. Clinical work is delivered in an environment that prioritises confidentiality, safety, and consistency of care. We are committed to maintaining strong clinical governance structures, clear referral and escalation pathways, and ongoing quality assurance processes. This ensures that care is delivered responsibly, appropriately, and in line with Irish and European professional frameworks.

Beyond symptom relief, our aim is to support individuals in developing insight, resilience, and sustainable psychological wellbeing. We see therapy as a structured yet collaborative process one that respects personal autonomy while offering professional guidance. Vera Mental Health Clinic exists to make psychological care accessible, trustworthy, and grounded in integrity. Because we believe that mental wellbeing is not a privilege, but something everyone deserves.
